“The penultimate hole is a sharp left to right dogleg par four. For the long hitter, club selection is crucial to avoid over hitting the ball into the lake at the end of the fairway so a medium to long iron is all that is required off the tee. Accuracy on the approach is crucial if you are to finish with a relatively easy putt on the course’s most deceptive green which is a little like an up turned saucer. A par here is a very good score.”
