The Club
The course is situated in the beautiful Surrey countryside and has an array of tree lined fairways giving the impression that it is much older than it truly is. The putting surfaces are maintained to a very high standard all year round and with a fast growing reputation, Chobham Golf Club is now considered as one of the best courses in the area.
There is a good mixture of competition and social golf to be enjoyed with fellow members. One of the big attractions to new and established members are the organised ‘Roll up’ games we host at weekends and midweek, while our non-competition days are also available for members to come along and enjoy a friendly day of golf. The club operates managed tee times so you are not disappointed when you arrive to play and both members and visitors can book their tee times online.
There is always something to suit your handicap, age and golfing desire at Chobham and you will certainly not be short of playing opportunities.
The Course
Our superb 18 hole, par 69 golf course opened in 1994, was designed by Peter Allis and Clive Clarke and is laid out on naturally undulating parkland set amongst mature oak woodland giving the impression that the course has been around for many more years. The course provides an excellent challenge to the skills of low and high handicap players alike.
Built to Championship standards with USGA greens and tees, the course has automatic irrigation and a drainage system designed to provide excellent year round play. Among the many attractive features of the course are the six strategically placed lakes which come in to play on 9 of the 18 holes. There is a combination of challenging par fours, tempting par five and six superb par threes. The clubs signature hole is the 15th, a 222 yard par 3 nestling in front of the clubhouse terrace.
